Kristin brings over 14 years of experience in treating orthopedic, neurologic, and athletic injuries. Originally from Ohio, she developed a passion for sports and musculoskeletal injuries through high school athletics and her role as a student athletic trainer. Kristin went on to excel in athletics at Dartmouth College, where she competed in ice hockey and softball.
Her athletic career took her to the National Women’s Hockey League in Canada and later to the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team, where she earned an Olympic bronze medal in 2006, a gold medal at the 2005 World Championships, and a 4-Nations Cup gold medal.

The program should begin 6-8 weeks before the start of the sports season to maximize its effectiveness. Through a combination of plyometrics, strength training, and sport-specific drills, athletes will develop better coordination, body mechanics, and joint stability, significantly lowering their risk for knee injuries such as ACL tears.
